As a part of Bloomington, Indiana’s healthcare legacy, the Local Council of Women has a rich history of community health advocacy and a commitment to working collaboratively with local partners to advance and promote access to the best possible health care solutions for everyone in our community, regardless of their circumstances.
Our Mission
The Local Council of Women (LCW) is dedicated to being a voice for community health, advocating for solutions to accessibility and delivery of health care, and to exercising our inherent organizational responsibilities in connection with Bloomington Hospital (now Indiana University Health Bloomington).
