The Local Council of Women (LCW) proudly presented the 2024 scholarship awards at the LCW Annual Meeting on December 6, 2024. This year, the LCW awarded a total of $11,000 in scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields.
$5,000 Cecelia Wahl Scholarship Recipient
The prestigious $5,000 Cecelia Wahl Scholarship was awarded to Abigail Rencher. Abigail was recognized for her outstanding academic achievements and dedication to advancing healthcare in our community.
$1,000 Scholarship Recipients
LCW also awarded $1,000 scholarships to six additional students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their studies and future careers in healthcare.
